Yesterday I discovered the Best of Gowan in my music folder on my hard drive. I had totally forgotten that Jeff had given it to me over the summer. If you're not Canadian then you will probably have no idea who Gowan is and his name will certainly not evoke any feelings of nostalgia on your part but for us Canucks over the age of 25 the name Gowan brings back the days of hockey hair and Au Coton outfits! Ah my bright pink midriff top and matching belt and slouch socks - these paired with my bright blue lounge pants and cardigan made the perfect outfit for my first boy/girl party.

somehow, they sound like the socks that go up to your stomach or something....i ask this question, bc, as you know, i was not cool until about 1995
