Wow. Working. Sucks. You hate me, right? Now in the third week of the program...how's it going, you wonder? It's intense. Students are outspoken and opinionated. I feel like a fish out of water. Reverse culture shock in the classroom, as if I didn't have enough to deal with in that department. Reverse culture shock's a doozy folks.
So I just finished up some work, it's 10:23 and I'm sitting on the couch, stinking of Vick's Vapo Rub and feeling light headed from coughing...good times. My body is so predictable - stress, fatigue, sore glands, loss of voice. As my brother-in-law said, I sound like Marg Simpson's mother.
In other news, I've applied to two jobs this week and keep your fingers crossed everyone because I'm actually highly interested in both. How does Joanne the English Language Assessor strike you?
