Odaiba

On Saturday morning Juniper, Russ, Karen and I headed to Asakusa to check out Sensoji and take a boat ride on the Sumida river, our end point being Odaiba.

A few months previous Juniper, Katrina and I had been to the Mori Art museum and saw a preview to Gregory Colbert's Ashes and Snow exhibit. We loved the preview and decided to buy tickets to see the complete exhibition in its rightful home: the Nomadic Museum.

The Nomadic Museum is a temporary structure that was designed specifically by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban for the Ashes and Snow exhibit. The building, made from 152 steel cargo containers, was by far the most captivating thing about the entire exhibit.

I agree 100%...best thing at the exhibit was the Nomadic museum. Was a great day and I love that pic of us on the boat.

I love that pic too! You guys look so cool - I wish I were in it but then I wouldn't have been holding my ultra cool camera, granted not a D80...

I assume the D80 comment was directed at me!

I am having a hard time keeping up with three different blogs and three different sets of comments being replied to!
