My week of hibernation is over. Kind of.
Thank you Harry. Your company, as always, was riveting. You had me for a second there, J.K. Thank you Karen for your brilliant insight on the Elder Wand. Truly, I should start a ‘Quotable Karen Corner.’
Thank you Khaled Hosseini (author of The Kite Runner) for delivering another passionate, heart wrenching novel, A Thousand Splendid Suns. I read it in one day. The characters just grab you and don’t let you go until the very last page.
Damn you Prison Break for making every single episode a cliffhanger. I hate the show. Why do I keep watching? Season 3 promises to be even more ridiculous.
Dream Girls. Jaw dropping good. Loved it. It might even top ‘Once More With Feeling.’
I’ve truly indulged myself this week by doing things that I absolutely love: reading, studying Japanese, drinking coffee, napping, watching T.V., biking and cooking. Of course, I also managed to squeeze in a couple of Tokyo’s hidden gems this weekend – truly amazing weekend that it was.
I’ve been debating about what this blog entry should be – there are a number of things I want to write about but I just can’t seem to organize them into distinct entries so I’ll continue to sit on them a little longer. Be patient as I sort them out...

Jeesh, I thought the French had a lot of holidays, but English teachers in Japan put them to shame!!
Of course, all this to say that I am scathingly envious of your ability to lounge around in a slothful manner. haha
